Apparently, there's not much of a cost tied in to moving a game over to the Wii U. New games are similarly inexpensive to make.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, in talking about research and development costs for the Wii U, revealed today that ports to the system are incredibly cheap to produce. He says that ports are running around a million euros, or right around $1.2 million. Considering the cost of games, that's a crazy inexpensive way to get a whole new audience buying your titles.
