'Longshots' Headed to Blu-ray

In an early announcement to retailers, Weinstein Co. has set an early-December kick-off for the Ice Cube sports comedy 'The Longshots.'

The directorial debut of Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, 'The Longshots' grossed $25 million during its theatrical run earlier this year. Weinstein/Genius Products will debut the film on Blu-ray December 2, day-and-date with the standard DVD.

There are no tech specs or supplemental details available as of this early date, but as always we'll keep you posted.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $37.49
