Warner Announces Second "In-Movie Experience"-Enabled HD DVD Title

Posted Jun 23, 2006 at 11:17 AM PDT by Unknown Author
Warner will release its second HD DVD title to include the exclusive "In-Movie Experience" interactive feature, when the studio debuts 'The Dukes of Hazzard' on July 11, 2006.

Exclusive to HD DVD release of 'Hazzard,' the "In-Movie Experience" technology allows users to watch exclusive HD bonus content in real-time while the main feature is playing. The content will include new interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and other making-of material featuring the film's cast and crew.

In addition to the "In-Movie Experience," the 'Hazzard' release will also include all of the same extras as the standard DVD release of the film, including an unrated cut of the film not seen in theaters, both "clean" and "unrated" gag reels, and Jessica Simpson's "These Boots Were Made For Walkin'" music video.

Along with 'The Dukes of Hazzard,' Warner will also debut the Bruce Lee classic 'Enter the Dragon' on July 11. The disc also includes the same bonus features as its standard DVD counterpart, along with a new Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround track.

Warner has set a $28.99 list price for each title.

Full details for both releases can be found in our complete HD DVD Release Schedule.
