The latest studio to add exclusive content to its HD-DVD menu, Warner
today announced that its upcoming '
Constantine'
will be its
first
disc release to include interactive features exclusive to the format, reports
Video Business.
Due June 6, the title will include what Warner is dubbing the "In-Movie
Experience." The technology allows users to simultaneously watch supplementary
material including interviews and making-of footage while the film is running.
Viewers of 'Constantine' will be able to hear from director Francis Lawrence
behind-the-scenes information on plot, stunts, characters and production, says
VB.
'Constantine' follows the release of '
The
Bourne Supremacy' yesterday, which became the first HD-DVD title to hit
stores with interactive features exclusive to the format.
Though Warner has not issued an official press release for the June 6 HD-DVD
release of 'Constantine,' it is expected to unveil full details of the disc
later this week. We have added the latest details on the release to our comprehensive
HD-DVD Release Calendar.
