'Sling Blade' to Hit Blu-ray this June

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced a mid-June Blu-ray release for 'Sling Blade.'

A breakout role for writer-director Billy Bob Thorton, the highly-acclaimed 'Sling Blade' will receive its high-def premiere on June 16.

Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (1.85:1) and a English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.

Extras will match the previous DVD release, including audio commentary with Thorton, a pair of featurettes, and a roundtable discussion and interviews with Thorton and the cast.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99.
