VIZIO Launches 2017 SmartCast E-Series Display Collection with XXL 75" & 80" Models

The new lineup includes sizes ranging from 32-inches to 80-inches.

VIZIO has announced its new 2017 E-Series Full HD and Ultra HD SmartCast display collection. The lineup includes HDR support on models 55-inches and larger.

"Our E-Series collection is known for offering features that simply aren't found on other entry-level models in the market, and the new 2017 E-Series collection is no different. With the addition of 75" and 80" class screen sizes to the line-up, value-minded shoppers who want to go big now have access to powerful picture quality in an XXL screen," said Matt McRae, Chief Technology Officer, VIZIO. "High Dynamic Range with HDR10 content support provides another reason to upgrade by allowing consumers to get the most out of their HDR Blu-Ray players and game consoles."

The 2017 E-Series display collection features models with up to 16 Active LED Zones. Likewise, HDR10 support is included on all units 55-inches or larger. In addition, the lineup includes new XXL 75-inch and 80-inch sizes, offering viewers even bigger screen options. Finally, the E-Series uses VIZIO's SmartCast platform with Chromecast built-in, allowing users to cast content to and control their displays through the SmartCast app on Android and iOS mobile devices.

The new 75-inch and 80-inch 2017 VIZIO E-Series SmartCast displays are now available through VIZIO.com. In addition, the remainder of the lineup will be also available from VIZIO and other retailers soon.
