Universal Bumps Trio of Fall HD DVD Releases

Universal Studios Home Entertainment is shifting the street dates of a trio of its upcoming HD DVD titles, delaying each release by one week.

Originally due to debut on September 12, the Ron Howard action hit 'Backdraft' is now set to arrive in stores September 19.

The October 3 HD DVD/DVD combo releases of cult favorites 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' and 'Army of Darkness' have also been postponed by one week, with both now slated to hit shelves on October 10.

Spec, feature and pricing details remain unchanged, and Universal gave no reason for the shift in street dates.
