Universal Studios Home Entertainment has added two more A-plus catalog titles to its early 2007 HD DVD line-up -- the mega-hit 'The Mummy Returns,' and the Oscar favorite 'The Sting.'
Due in stores January 16, 2007, both 'Mummy' and 'Sting' will come as fully-loaded HD-30 dual-layer discs.
Specs include 1080p/VC-1 video transfers and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround tracks. Extras will equal the standard-def DVD counterparts, including filmmaker commentary and multiple featurettes on 'Mummy Returns,' and a retrospective documentary on 'The Sting.' There are no exclusive HD extras on either title, however.
Universal has set a suggested $28.95 list price for each release.
