Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced they will bring Spike Lee's hit thriller 'Inside Man' to HD DVD this fall.
Starring Denzel Washington, Clive Owen and Jodie Foster, 'Inside Man' was Lee's biggest hit ever at the domestic box office, scoring a gross of over $80 million.
Universal will finally bring the film to HD DVD October 23, almost nine months after its original standard-def DVD debut.
Tech specs include a 1080p/VC-1 transfer and Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround tracks.
Extras will mirror the standard-def version, including audio commentary with Lee, two featurettes and deleted scenes.
Retail price will go for a suggested $29.98.
We've added complete specs for 'Inside Man' to our HD DVD Release Schedule, under October 23. There it joins three other just-announced Universal titles, 'Seed of Chucky,' 'Carlito's Way' and 'Carlito's Way: Rise to Power.'
