Universal has announced another catch-up title for Blu-ray, setting a late-May date for the racing drama 'Seabiscuit.'

The highly-acclaimed and Oscar-nominated drama, which stars Tobey Maguire and Jeff Bridges, made its HD DVD debut back in 2007. Universal will give the box office hit its first-ever Blu-ray release on May 26.

Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer disc with 1080p video (2.39:1) and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.

Extras include audio commentary with director Gary Ross and filmmaker Steven Soderbergh, three making-of featurettes ("Bringing the Legend to Life: The Making of Seabiscuit," "Anatomy of a Movie Moment," "Seabiscuit: Racing Through History") an additional pair of historical featurettes ("Seabiscuit vs. War Admiral, The 1938 Match Race," "Winners' Circle: The Heroes Behind the Legend," "The True Story of Seabiscuit"), an "HBO First Look" TV special, and the "Photo Finish: Jeff Bridges' On the Set Photographs" animated still gallery.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99.
