The 11.6-inch Windows tablet hybrid is hitting stores this month.
Acer is adding a new tablet hybrid option to the market with its TravelMate X313. The mobile device features an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 IPS touch screen and offers the portability of a tablet along with many of the benefits of a laptop, including an optional keyboard cradle.
"Commercial customers are increasingly moving to the use of touch for many everyday tasks," said Michael O'Beirne, Acer senior director, commercial product marketing. "Whether it’s web browsing, checking email or scheduling an appointment, professional users are finding touch an intuitive and easy way to interact with their computing devices. Fast and responsive, this new convertible ultrabook provides customers with the performance, quick boot time and long battery life required to be productive and efficient."
The TravelMate X313 is powered by an Intel Core i5-3339Y 2.00 GHz processor, Intel HD Graphics 4000, and 4GB of RAM running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit. A 5MP rear camera and a front-facing Acer Crystal Eye HD webcam are also included. In addition, the tablet features 120GB of SSD storage, a full-sized Chiclet keyboard that is integrated into the cover, and a stylus for pen-based input.
The TravelMate X313 is now available for a suggested retail price starting at $950.
