The 1954 film directed by Michael Curtiz is based on the novel "Sinuhe the Egyptian" by Mika Waltari and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Cinematography.

Specs and suggested list price for the Blu-ray are still undetermined at this time, but supplements will include Isolated score by Bernard Herrmann and Alfred Newman and Audio commentary by film historians Alain Silver and James Ursini.
