Kirk Douglas' film debut hits Blu-ray in May.

Desperate to escape her wealthy, domineering aunt, young Martha plans to run away with her boyfriend, Sam. Accidentally killing her aunt, she lies, but her story is supported by Walter, who saw what happened. Years later, Sam returns to town and falls in love again … with someone else.

Unbeknownst to Sam, Walter has married Martha, blackmailing her into the union. Fearing what Sam knows, he sets out to silence his wife’s unrequited love … Manipulation, conspiracy, forgiveness, heartbreak and tragedy await as this all-star, 1946 film noir classic unfolds.

'The Strange Love of Martha Ivers' will be released in a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack from Film Chest and HD Cinema Classics.

The suggested retail price is $15.99.
