'The Poseidon Adventure (1972)' Wal-mart Exclusive Blu-ray Announced

The original 1972 disaster flick will capsize Blu-ray in April as a retailer exclusive.

20th Century Fox is about to release 'The Poseidon Adventure (1972)' starring Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Shelley Winters, and Roddy mcDowall on Blu-ray on April 3 exclusively at Wal-Mart.

One of the most gripping disaster films of all time follows ten survivors as they struggle to escape from an ocean liner capsized by a tidal wave. Suspenseful terror, combined with the victims' intimate and personal stories, results in compelling and heart-stopping drama. The distinguished talents of 15 Academy Award(R) winners, along with incredible special effects, make this film a true classic.

Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.98.
