'The Ghost Writer' Blu-ray Announced

The political thriller directed by Roman Polanski and written by Robert Harris is headed for Blu-ray this August.

In an early retailer announcement, Summit Entertainment looks to be bringing 'The Ghost Writer' to Blu-ray on August 3.

The film stars Ewan McGregor as a ghost writer who is hired to write the memoirs of a former British Prime Minister (Pierce Brosnan) and begins uncovering dark political secrets that may threaten his own life.

Specs haven't been revealed yet, but the release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo and will include the following features: An Interview with Roman Polanski, The Ghost Writer: Fiction or Reality?, and The Cast of The Ghost Writer.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $40.99.
