'Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys' Blu-ray Bound

The latest horror flick from the studio who brought you 'Sharknado' will terrorize Blu-ray in July. Pre-orders are now live. 

In an early announcement to retailers, The Asylum is preparing 'Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys' for Blu-ray on July 22.

'Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys' stars Shannen Doherty ('Beverley Hills 90210'), Christopher Lloyd ('Back to the Future') and Jason Brooks ('Days of our Lives'). The film follows Michael (Brooks), a fish and wildlife expert who moves to a new town with his wife Cate (Doherty). After being summoned by the town mayor to help deal with its attacking fish problem, it first appears like a straight forward job -- however with these eel-like fish on the loose, the town's residents quickly learn that a casual dip in the pool or routine trip to the toilet can turn deadly as the lampreys hunt for their next victim.

Specs and supplements have not been detailed yet, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $14.95.
