After a delay of over a year, Sony has confirmed a new early-June Blu-ray release date for 'Glory.'
Originally scheduled for a February 2007 Blu-ray release, Sony subsequently yanked the title from its schedule without explanation. The studio has now confirmed a new Blu-ray date of June 2 for the Ed Zwick-directed Civil War drama.
Tech specs will see 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (2.35:1) and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
There's no word on bonus features as of yet, though a package comparable to the previous special edition DVD version appears likely.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.99.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Glory' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under its new date of June 2.
