The impressive 4K projector will be available soon.
Sony has revealed details for its upcoming VPL-VW350ES projector. Unlike other 4K Ultra HD devices with 3840 x 2160 resolutions, the projector offers a full 4K resolution of 4096 x 2160.
"With our 4K projection expertise, Sony is unrivalled in our ability to offer breathtaking image quality," said Toshifumi Okuda, Sony Electronics Deputy President. "The VPL-VW350ES enables us to deliver the very best home cinema experience to even more of our customers."
The VPL-VW350ES uses the company's 4K SXRD panel technology to project 4096 x 2160 images at up to 60p. In addition, the device features Sony's TRILUMINOS tech, 1,500lm brightness, Motionflow for smooth images, and a low latency mode for gaming. HDMI 2.0 connections and HDCP 2.2 support are integrated as well.
Sony's VPL-VW350ES will be available later this month at Sony stores and other authorized dealers for under $10,000.
