With its Blu-ray release date less than two months away, Sony has issued revised box art and final specs for 'Untraceable.'
As we originally reported, Sony announced a May 13 arrival for the Diane Lane police procedural (day-and-date with the standard DVD), which will hit high-def as a fully-loaded special edition.
Previously-announced specs include an audio commentary with director Gregory Hoblit, producer Hawk Koch, and production designer Paul Eads, plus four making-of featurettes ( "Tracking Untraceable," "Untraceable: The Personnel Files," "The Blueprint of Murder," "The Anatomy of Murder")
Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be a Bonus View (aka Profile 1.1) video commentary, aka "Beyond the Cyber Bureau," which combines new interviews with cast and crew, behind-the-scenes footage, storyboards, and production. (Note that the Bonus View track will not be accessible to those without Profile 1.1-enabled players.)
Tech specs feature 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, English and French Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio, and additional Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround dubs in Spanish and Portuguese (subtitle options are provided for all languages listed).
Finally, Sony has revised the cover art for 'Untraceable's Blu-ray release, tweaking the original theatrical movie poster:
As previously announced, Sony has set a suggested list price of $38.95 for the Blu-ray.
