Sony has announced full specs for the Blu-ray release of 'First Sunday,' which arrives this May with exclusive high-def content.
As we've previously reported, Sony had alerted retailers to a May 6 Blu-ray bow for 'First Sunday' (day-and-date with the standard DVD), but had stopped short of issuing further details.
Now the full specs are in, with the BD-50 dual-layer presentation enjoying 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, English and French Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround tracks, and additional Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround dubs in Spanish, Portuguese, and Thai.
Extras shared between the Blu-ray and the DVD include audio commentary with writer-director David Talbert, the "Hood Robbin' with the First Sunday Cast and Crew" featurette, deleted scenes (with optional commentary), a gag reel, and additional outtakes.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray release will be "The Almighty Version," an interactive graphic fact track that includes pop-up trivia.
As previously announced, suggested retail has been set at $38.95.
You'll find complete specs for 'First Sunday' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under May 6.
