Sony Pictures has set final specs for the November Blu-ray release of 'Hancock,' which will include an unrated version of the film, high-def exclusives, and Digital Copy.
As first reported last week, Sony officially announced a November 25 street date for the $200 million-grossing Will Smith blockbuster (day-and-date on Blu-ray and DVD), but stopped short of issuing any specs.
Presented in separate unrated and theatrical versions (accessible via seamless branching), 'Hancock' will feature a BD-50 dual-layer presentation in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
Newly-confirmed bonus features include a suite of seven featurettes ("Superhumans: The Making of Hancock," "Home Life," "Seeing the Future," "Suiting Up," "Building a Better Hero," "Bumps and Bruises," "Mere Mortals: Behind the Scenes with 'Dirty Pete'"), plus a Digital Copy of the film included on a second standard DVD.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray is the "On-Set Visual Diary" picture-in-picture (BonusView) commentary, provided on both the unrated and theatrical versions.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.95.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Hancock' listed in our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under November 25.
