Sony Pictures is bringing the 2008 Best Foreign Language Film nominee 'Waltz with Bashir' to Blu-ray in late-June.
The highly-acclaimed, animated biography by filmmaker Ari Folman, 'Waltz with Bashir' documents his journey as he interviews fellow veterans of the 1982 invasion of Lebanon. Sony will release the Blu-ray on June 23, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Tech specs feature a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (1.85:1) and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround tracks in Hebrew and English.
Among the extras is audio commentary with Folman, a "Making-of" featurette, "Behind the Scenes" animatics, and a Q&A with Folman.
Like all Sony Blu-ray titles, the disc also comes with BD-Live connectivity.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.95.
