Bringing another teen bloodbath to Blu-ray, Sony has announced a late-July bow for the horror-thriller 'Urban Legend.'
In what is fast becoming the summer of slashers on high-def, Sony has set a July 22 Blu-ray street date for the Jamie Blanks-directed, 'Scream'-inspired horror hit (where it will join the recently-announced 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and its sequel, 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer').
Early tech specs include 1080p video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio and subtitle tracks in English and French.
No extras have been announced as of yet, but we expect bonus features comparable to those found on the previous DVD release. Stay tuned.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.96.
