Full details are now in for the 2010 remake heading to high-definition this October!
As previously reported, Sony has slated 'The Karate Kid,' starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, for Blu-ray release on October 5.
The film has been receiving generally favorable reviews and currently holds a 68% "fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Chinese Lessons - Learn Chinese!; Music Video: Justin Bieber Featuring Jaden Smith "Never Say Never"; and Just for Kicks: The Making of The Karate Kid.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be: ON LOCATION: The Karate Kid Interactive Map of China; Alternate Ending; Play All Hosted by Jackie Chan; Production Diaries Hosted by Jackie Chan; movieIQ+sync(TM); and PS3 Wallpaper Theme.
The Blu-ray will also be available as a single disc edition with a suggested list price of $34.96 or a BD/DVD combo for $38.96.
