In an early retail announcement, Sony has revealed a March arrival for the Michael Caine-Jude Law thriller 'Sleuth.'
A remake of the 1972 crime classic (which also starred Caine), 'Sleuth' was one of the biggest box office disappointments of the year, having grossed barely $3 million (yes, $3 million) worldwide since opening back in October.
Hoping that the Kenneth Branagh-directed update will find a wider audience on video, Sony has set a March 11th arrival for the Blu-ray, day-and-date with standard DVD.
Given the early nature of the announcement, there were no tech specs or supplemental details available at press time. The full media announcement is expected in the next few days, however, so we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
In anticipation of the full announcement, you'll find preliminary disc details for 'Sleuth (2007)' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under March 11, 2008.
