Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the Kate Beckinsale vampire opus 'Underworld' to Blu-ray in time for Halloween.
The hit action-horror thriller will sink its fangs into Blu-ray on September 25, in an unrated version boasting 12 minutes of footage to scary for the theaters.
No other supplemental details are yet known for 'Underworld,' but the disc is set to include a 1080p/AVC MPEG-transfer and uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround audio.
Sony has set a $28.95 list price for the release.
The studio has already released the film's sequel, 'Underworld: Evolution', earlier this year on Blu-ray.
We've added a new listing for 'Underworld' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule, under September 25. Stay tuned for final specs to come in the days ahead.
