Sony has provided details for the two classic Jim Henson titles heading to high-definition in late September.
Both 'Labyrinth,' starring David Bowie, and 'The Dark Crystal' are coming to Blu-ray on September 29.
The films will be presented in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 (2.40:1) video and will have a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack.
Supplements for 'Labyrinth' include a Making of Documentary: Inside The Labyrinth, Commentary with Brian Froud, Journey through the Labyrinth: "Kingdom of Characters", Journey through the Labyrinth: "The Quest for Goblin City", and a picture-in-picture feature: The Storytellers.
Supplements for 'The Dark Crystal' include a Commentary with Brian Froud, Storyboard Track, The Book of Thra: Dark Crystal Collector, SkekTek's Crystal Challenge Trivia Game, Original Skeksis Language - Test Scenes with Introduction by Screenwriter David Odell, Deleted Scenes, The World of 'The Dark Crystal,' Reflections of the Dark Crystal: "Light on the Path of Creation." and Reflections of the Dark Crystal: "Shard of Illusion."
Suggested list price for each Blu-ray has been set at $27.95.
