Though it's still ensconced in the box office top ten, early specs have begun to leak for a March Blu-ray release of 'Seven Pounds.'
The mysterious Will Smith thriller, which has so far received a mixed response from critics and audiences (to the tune of a $60 million box office take and counting), has been given a March 17 Blu-ray release by Sony Pictures. That marks an unusually speedy turn-around following the film's domestic theatrical debut this past December.
Early known supplement specs include a trio of featurettes ("Seven Views on Seven Pounds," "Creating the Perfect Ensemble," "Emily's Passion: The Art of the Printing Press") and deleted scenes.
At press time, there is no confirmed MSRP.
Again, Sony has yet to officially announce 'Seven Pounds' for Blu-ray, so at this point the information should remain safely in the rumor department. We'll keep you posted.
As we await further word on Sony's plans for 'Seven Pounds,' you find a new listing for the title linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under March 17.
