The sports documentary 'Steep' is Blu-ray bound this March.
Tracing the sport of extreme skiing from its beginnings in the mountains of France to the aerial acrobatics performed by the current generation of big mountain skiers, 'Steep' combines rarely-seen archival material with breathtaking original footage captured on both film and HD video.
Currently playing in limited theatrical release, Sony has told retailers that it's planning a March 18 Blu-ray debut for 'Steep,' day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Due to the early nature of the announcement, there were no specs or supplement details available at press time, but a full press release is expected in the coming days. We'll keep you posted.
