'The Lawnmower Man: Collector's Edition' Blu-ray Announced

The 1992 science fiction film starring Jeff Fahey and Pierce Brosnan is getting a collector's edition Blu-ray sometime later this year.

In an early announcement to retailers, Scream Factory is working on 'The Lawnmower Man: Collector's Edition' for Blu-ray later this year.

A scientist performs experiments involving intelligence enhancing drugs and virtual reality on a simple-minded gardener. He puts the gardener on an extensive schedule of learning, and quickly he becomes brilliant. But at this point the gardener has a few ideas of his own on how the research should continue, and the scientist begins losing control of his experiments.

No other details have been revealed at this time.
