The Sect

The 1991 horror film is headed for Blu-ray later this year.

In an early announcement to retailers, Scorpion Releasing is working on 'The Sect' for Blu-ray sometime in May.

A spree of grisly murders is perpetrated in Frankfurt by a group of Satan worshippers. A school teacher almost runs over an old man with a box and takes him in. Starring Kelly Curtis, Herbert Lom, and Mariangela Giordano.

The Blu-ray will feature a NEW 2K restoration and supplements include: New exclusive interview with Dario Argento; Interviews with Michele Soavi, screenwriter Gianni Romoli, actor Giovanni Lombardo Radice, composer Pino Donaggio, set designer Massimo Antonello Geleng, director of photography Raffaele Mertes and film historian Fabrizio Spurio; reversible sleeve; and a slipcase limited to first 2000 units.
