6v6 plus AI.
Vince Zampella of Respawn Entertainment has shared the player count for the upcoming FPS/mech shooter, 'Titanfall,' and the number is 6v6.
@MrClutch514 @Respawn 6v6 is max player count. Turned out to be the best balance with ai for us.

'Titanfall' has previously been demonstrated as 7v7, but a big distinction for the number is the presence of AI. Matches feature a dozen or so AI players, and human players can all link up with an extra AI. Zampella has stated the reason for 6v6 has nothing to do with performance but is all about finding the right match balance and fun quotient.
@Dzelly_igr that's humans only count. There are lots of ai, everyone can have a Titan in follow or guard mode too.

With twelve human players total, many veterans of games like 'Battlefield 4,' which feature higher player counts, are not happy with 6 versus 6. With the game two months from release, it remains to be seen how this fan ire over the player count will affect the game's reception.
