The mobile device manufacturer and the automobile brand have teamed up to design… a really expensive phone!
BlackBerry and Porsche have detailed the P'9982, a special redesigned edition of BlackBerry's Z10 smartphone. The premium device will be available exclusively at Harrods department stores in the UK, the same retailer who sold the previous Porsche influenced BlackBerry P'9981.
The P'9982 features a 4.2-inch 1280 x 768 screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, and 2GB of RAM. In addition, the smartphone includes 64GB of built-in storage, a microSD slot, and a 1,800mAh battery. An 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera are also integrated into the device. The smartphone's body is made from stainless steel and the back panel is coated in genuine Italian leather.
The BlackBerry P'9982 is expected to go on sale at Harrods for around £1,450 (about $2,336) on November 21. An even more expensive crocodile leather special edition will also be available.
