Paramount Home Entertainment has confirmed a street date shift for its Blu-ray and HD DVD debuts of 'Zodiac,' bumping the film from its previously scheduled July 24 bow to early fall.
The studio originally announced the David Fincher thriller for a next-gen debut day-and-date with the standard-def DVD on July 24th, but while plans for the DVD remain unchanged, Paramount now says the Blu-ray and HD DVD versions won't hit shelves until September 18.
As Paramount has not yet issued any specs for any of the disc releases of 'Zodiac,' it is too soon to tell whether different specs or features may be included on the high-def editions.
We've adjusted the listings for 'Zodiac' in our Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule to reflect the new street date, with the title now listed under September 18. Stay tuned for full specs to be announced in the coming weeks.
