Come see the Batmobile in action as Batman tackles the Wayne legacy.
After years of rumors, leaks and speculation, Warner Bros. has announced that series creator, Rocksteady Studios, has been working on an ambitious conclusion to the series they started with the instant classic, 'Batman: Arkham Asylum.' While 'Batman: Arkham Origins' is a prequel that was developed at Warner Bros. Montreal, Rocksteady's 'Batman: Arkham Knight' is the true continuation of the series. Not only will Batman face a team of villains assembled by the Scarecrow, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, but the series' leap to the new generation of consoles will see the series' first drivable Batmobile.
The announcement trailer, while shy on gameplay, is an indulgence for Batman fans as the message the from Thomas Wayne strikes a tempo for a Batman bracing for a challenge the size of Gotham.
Warner Bros. has also announced that Harly Quinn will be playable for the first time, but that feature is currently limited to a pre-order bonus.
The game is promised for 2014, and a fall release makes the most sense.
