Pre-orders will include 'Doom' beta access.
Today, Bethesda released several details regarding the newest 'Wolfenstein' title, 'Wolfenstein: The New Order.'
From Matt Grandstaff, Global Community Lead, Bethesda, "Wolfenstein: The New Order once again centers around the series’ iconic war hero, B.J. Blazkowicz, faced with an alternate version of the 1960s in which the Nazis won World War II. As the only man capable of rewriting history, BJ will (with the help of a small group of resistance fighters) infiltrate their most heavily guarded facilities, battle high-tech Nazi legions, and take control of super-weapons that have conquered the earth – and beyond."
'Wolfenstein: The New Order' is now set for a May 20th release in North America for the Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3, and PC.
Bethesda has also announced that those who pre-order 'Wolfenstein: The New Order' will get beta access to the new 'Doom.' Details on the beta are slight, but Bethesda has said that the beta access will involve an insert in boxed copies of 'Wolfenstein: The New Order.'
