It wasn't originally planned for release until December 26, but New Line says 'Rush Hour 3' will actually hit stores three days earlier -- just in time for you-know-what.
The rare street date advancement will now see the Jackie Chan/Chris Tucker sequel make its Blu-ray bow on Sunday, December 23rd. (Due to copy protection concerns, the HD DVD version is not due for release until sometime in 2008.)
Supplement details for 'Rush Hour 3' remain the same. Extras shared among all versions will include an audio commentary with director Brett Ratner, the "Le Rush Hour Trois Production Diary" featurette, deleted scenes, and a gag reel, while the Blu-ray will also enjoy an exclusive picture-in-picture video commentary track featuring the film's cast & crew and other behind-the-scenes footage.
Tech specs are just as impressive, with 1080p video and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio track in 7.1 Surround.
As previously announced, suggested list price for the Blu-ray will be $39.98.
