Both add simpler to see controls as well as a prettier interface overall.
The folks at Netflix have given the service a bit of a revamp for both users accessing by the computer and those using their iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. The new look is prettier of course, but there's plenty more to it.
For iOS devices, Netflix has added thumbnail images to the scrub bar, just like when you're browsing on the PC. You'll be able to see stills from the movie as you scroll through – that's definitely a nice touch. The audio and subtitle settings are more easily accessible, and all the controls have been made larger and are separated better so you won't fat-finger the wrong button on accident.
The PC update brings a whole lot more to the bottom bar. You'll see audio and subtitle selections, title information and the like, as well as a wider scrub bar, so you can be a little more precise when scanning through a movie. There's also a new button that brings up more episodes of the show you're currently watching – a great addition for those that watch their TV on Netflix.
