Legendary electronic icons Nine Inch Nails will make next-gen history with the day-and-date release of their live concert film 'Beside You in Time on DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray.
Hitting all three formats on February 27, 2007, via Interscope, 'Beside You in Time' features a full 19-track set from the band's sold out 2006 "comeback" tour in support of their latest album, "With Teeth."
Both the Blu-ray and HD DVD versions include 1080p video transfers and soundtracks in Dolby Digital and DTS. However, exact codec and audio format details have not yet been releases.
Extras include five bonus tracks from the band's North American 2006 summer leg of the tour, plus two music videos, rehearsal footage and a still gallery. No word yet on whether the Blu-ray and/or HD DVD versions will include any additional exclusive HD content.
A teaser trailer for 'Beside You in Time' can also be found at the band's official website. (And since when did lead singer Trent Reznor turn into a bald, buff version of Peter Gabriel?)
Retail price is still pending, as is box art. But stay tuned, and in the meantime we've updated the latest specs in our HD DVD Release Schedule and Blu-ray Release Schedule.
