“We simply wanted to provide a value-add bundle other than Blu-ray, something new and exciting for our retailers,” said Frank Martin, VP of Marketing at the company. In an environment when televisions will soon have built in streaming services as a standard feature, it will be interesting to see if the Vudu box will be enough to spur sales.
