'Mega Piranha' Announced for Blu-ray

Somewhere out there, HDD's Nate Boss is giggling maniacally. It looks like Mega Shark, Giant Octopus, and Debbie Gibson will have some competition on Blu-ray this October!

In an early announcement to retailers, Platinum Disc Corporation will be releasing 'Mega Piranha' starring Paul Logan and Tiffany ("I Think I'm Alone Now") to high-definition on October 12.

The low-budget horror film is about giant mutant piranha, but you've probably already guessed that from the title.

Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is only $11.99.
