The Little Death

The Australian film will bring the kinky laughs to Blu-ray in October.

In an early announcement to retailers, Magnolia says 'The Little Death' will arrive on Blu-ray on October 13.

The Little Death, the English translation of the French phrase "La Petit Mort" - an idiom and euphemism for an orgasm – explores the themes of morality, normality, monogamy, relationships, love and deceit, all tied together with a sexy red bow. The edgy comedy follows five couples struggling to cope with their sexual kinks, while realizing it takes a lot more effort and determination to be sexually satisfied in the modern age. As sexual tendencies tend to evolve with society, so-called normality seems a bit abnormal these days. Some fetishes are run-of-the-mill, while others are hilariously obscure in this big-hearted comedy.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, lossless 5.1 audio, and supplements include: A Little Look at The Story, Casting & Directing: From Script to Screen; Inside The Cast & Characters: Relationships & Sex; and Interview with Writer/Director Josh Lawson.

You can find the latest specs for 'The Little Death' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it is indexed under October 13.
