'Muay Thai Giant' Blu-ray Announced

Not, we repeat, NOT a sequel to the 1998 Billy Crystal BLOCKBUSTER! The 2008 Thai action/comedy also known as 'Somtum' will spice up Blu in April.

In an early announcement to retailers, Magnolia is planning to unleash the 'Muay Thai Giant' on Blu-ray on April 26.

The movie is about a seven foot gentle giant who "Hulks" up whenever he eats the spicy dish somtum, while a pair of sisters befriend him and use his powers to their advantage.

Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include a Making of Muay Thai Giant and an international trailer.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.98.
