'Monsters' Announced for Blu-ray

Gareth Edwards' low-budget monster movie will invade Blu-ray this February.

In an early announcement to retailers, Magnolia says 'Monsters' starring Scoot McNairy and Whitney Able will be released on Blu-ray on February 1.

The film had an estimated budget of only $200,000 and has been nominated for numerous British Independent Film Awards.

Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements include: Making-of featurettes (Production on Set, Editing, and Visual Effects); HDNet: A Look at Monsters; Deleted and extended scenes; Extended interviews; Comic Con NYC with Gareth Edwards; Short film: Factory Farmed (with intro from Gareth Edwards); and a digital copy.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.98.
