Studio also working on a well-known movie license, possibly related to the new 'Mad Max.'
Details taken from Avalanche Studios CEO Christopher Sundberg's LinkedIn profile hint at two titles in development at the developer, which recently opened a second studio in Manhattan of all places. Coupled with last year's tweet from Sundberg, which indicated the company was focusing entirely on the next generation of consoles (and PC), and a prior rumor associating the company with the new 'Mad Max' film, the two titles seem clear.
The "new installment in a well-known game series" and "sandbox action game" set for June 2015 with Square Enix as publisher appears to be 'Just Cause 3.'
The other title, "an open-world action game" centered on "a well-known movie license" is set for April 2014, but is without a publisher and is set for both current and next-generation platforms. That title would seem to a stand-alone story based on the world of 'Mad Max: Fury Road.'
