MGM Bumps 'Spinal Tap' Blu-ray

Heavy metal fans will have to wait a little longer for a high-def 'This is Spinal Tap,' with MGM bumping the film's planned January Blu-ray release.

As previously reported, MGM had originally set a January 20 Blu-ray debut for the classic mockumentary, in a special edition including extensive bonus features and exclusive content.

We've now received word from the studio that the title has been postponed, with no new date announced.

There was no reason given for the delay, but MGM says an update will be forthcoming with a new date for the Blu-ray. As always, we'll keep you posted.
