Fred Schepisi's romantic drama is headed for Blu-ray in September.

In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate will be releasing 'Words and Pictures' on Blu-ray on September 9.

Prep school English teacher Jack Marcus (Clive Owen) meets his match in Dina Delsanto (Juliette Binoche) - an abstract painter, and new teacher on campus - and challenges her to a war between words and pictures...and, in the process, sparks an unlikely romance.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Audio commentary with director Fred Schepisi, and "Behind-the-scenes of Words and Pictures" featurette.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $24.99.
