Gus Van Sant's 'The Sea of Trees' Blu-ray Bound

The drama starring Matthew McConaughey, Naomi Watts, and Ken Watanabe is headed for Blu-ray in November.

In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate is working on 'The Sea of Trees' for Blu-ray on November 1.

In this powerful story of love and redemption, Arthur, an American professor, travels to Japan in the midst of a personal crisis. As he wanders through a mysterious forest with a dark past, he meets an enigmatic stranger who is lost and injured. The two embark on a spiritual, life-changing journey of friendship and survival that reconnects Arthur with his love for his wife.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, lossless 5.1 audio, and supplements include "The Sea of Trees: A Story of Beauty and Tragedy" Featurette.
