'Blood Father' with Mel Gibson Announced for Blu-ray

The action thriller is planned for Blu-ray in October.

In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate has revealed 'Blood Father' will be available on Blu-ray on October 11.

Blood Father stars Mel Gibson as John Link, an ex-convict who fights to protect his estranged daughter from the drug cartel that is hunting her down. In this thrilling action film, John must use his connections from his past life and his skills as an ex-criminal to keep him and his daughter alive.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, lossless 5.1 audio, and supplements include: Lost Souls: On the Road with Blood Father.
