Making an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate has set a late-April high-def landing for the sci-fi cult favorite 'The Arrival.'
Starring a pre-Denise Richards Charlie Sheen, the 1996 aliens-among-us sleeper hit, which was popular enough to spawn a less well-received sequel, will hit Blu-ray on April 21 (Lionsgate has previously released multiple DVD special editions).
There's no word yet on tech specs or bonus features, but a package comparable to the DVD versions is expected. We'll let you know as soon as the martians at Lionsgate clue us in.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99.
You'll find the latest specs for 'The Arrival' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under April 21.
